HEX-CRIMP 16 mm² has been specially developed for the process-safe crimping of wire end ferrules. Six synchronously driven dies produce a hexagonal crimp that facilitates the insertion of round terminals. The hexagonal crimp profile with serrated dies made of multi-hardened carbon steel ensures permanent electrical connections. Self-adjustment to the required wire end ferrule enables fast work with different cross-sections. The crimping tool has a ratchet mechanism with a blocking device to ensure a consistently high crimping quality and results that can be precisely repeated. The crimping tool will only open when the crimping process is complete. An emergency release has also been integrated into the handle, which opens the crimping tool in the event of misuse. Thanks to the accurate eccentric setting, the crimping force can be precisely adjusted. As a result, the tool delivers a consistently high crimping quality. The HEX-CRIMP 16 mm² tool can be used to process wire end ferrules in the working range of 0.5-16 mm² (AWG 20-5). The 2-component handles of the crimping tool ensure non-slip and ergonomically friendly handling with maximum force transmission. The tried and tested “ice-crack design” was used, which ensures a comfortable feel. The integrated eyelets on the handles can be used to attach a safety catch.
