Weicon once again honoured as a top employer
First place among industrial companies
For the eighth year in a row, the manufacturer of adhesives and sealants Weicon is among the top employers in Germany’s mid-sized sector – an award presented annually by the business magazine Focus Business. What’s special this year: the family-owned company has secured first place in the industrial sector.

Out of more than 4,000 companies evaluated, Weicon ranks 231st in this year’s list, placing it among the top 6% of mid-sized employers in Germany. In the industrial category, the adhesive manufacturer secures the top spot, taking first place among a total of 127 companies.
“We have been delighted to receive recognition as a top employer every year since 2019. Winning the award for the eighth year in a row shows that we are on the right track and that our efforts to be the best possible employer are appreciated by our team. Achieving first place among industrial companies is an additional sign of appreciation for us,” said Ann-Katrin Weidling, CEO of Weicon.
Criteria, data collection and evaluation
The top employer ranking is based on a comprehensive analysis. First, companies with between 11 and 500 employees are identified and then evaluated through a detailed online survey. The assessment takes into account both employee feedback and external evaluations, including an analysis of social media profiles. The most important evaluation criteria include the working environment, career opportunities, salary and company image. Focus Business publishes the results of the top employer ranking on its website.
